Porcine FETUA ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Porcine Fetuin A ELISA Kit is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Fetuin A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. It is specific for porcine Fetuin A with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The assay has a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm against a standard curve. A pre-coated capture antibody immobilises Fetuin A in standards and samples; a biotinylated detection antibody then binds the captured target to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich, visualised using HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with colour intensity directly proportional to Fetuin A concentration.

Validation studies report average recoveries of 90% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma, with reproducible performance across dilution factors. The kit is shipped at +4°C; components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
