Porcine Diamine Oxidase ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine diamine oxidase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a colourmetric readout measured at 450 nm. Standards and samples are incubated in the coated wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product is proportional to the analyte concentration in each well, quantified by reference to a standard curve.

The quantitative assay range is 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.67 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing yielded average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), each across five replicates. Dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed and should not be used past the stated expiration date.
