Porcine Complement Component 3 ELISA Kit

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.14 ng/ml and a product range of 0.39-25 ng/ml. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of Complement C3 captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by comparing absorbance at 450 nm to a standard curve.
