Porcine Cadherin, Epithelial ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine E Cadherin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for E Cadherin pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-E Cadherin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate catalyses a colour reaction that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The product range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.195 ng/ml, and the full assay is completed in 4h 30m. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (n=5), 92% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 93% for heparin plasma (n=5). Detection is colourimetric, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
