Porcine Brain Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP). The kit is reactive with porcine samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-BNP detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The standard curve covers a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <13.2 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%–99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%–89%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
