Porcine Apolipoprotein A4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of Apolipoprotein A4 (APOA4/Apo-AIV) in porcine samples by sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The assay is designed for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-APOA4/Apo-AIV detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported performance characteristics include a product range of 6.25-400 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 2.41 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery data provided by the manufacturer gives average recoveries of 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%), with linearity demonstrated at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
