Porcine Apolipoprotein A2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative determination of porcine Apolipoprotein A II/ApoA-II in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows a standard sandwich immunoassay workflow employing a biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein A II/ApoA-II detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction yields a yellow-coloured product read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The working assay range is 4.68–300 µg/ml with a sensitivity of <1.2 µg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), serum averaged 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (81–100%), and heparin plasma averaged 84% (80–89%). Dilutional linearity was assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample types.
