Porcine Apolipoprotein A1 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Apolipoprotein A I in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Apolipoprotein A I, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Apolipoprotein A I Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After addition of TMB substrate the enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is reactive with porcine samples and is configured as a sandwich (quantitative) ELISA on a pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips) with an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date. The manufacturer reports an assay range of 28.1-1800 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <12.7 ng/ml.
