Porcine Angiopoietin 2 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Porcine Angiopoietin 2/ANG2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Angiopoietin 2/ANG2 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Angiopoietin 2/ANG2 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to generate a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with the yellow intensity proportional to target concentration. Total assay time is 4h 30m. The stated sensitivity is <0.54 ng/ml and the assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml. Reported average recovery is 95% for serum (n=5, range 89–101%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 91–101%) and 96% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 91–101%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 is reported as 81–101% for serum, 80–102% for EDTA plasma and 79–104% for heparin plasma.
