Porcine Angiogenin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com's Porcine Angiogenin ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Angiogenin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an Angiogenin-specific capture antibody, and the assay uses a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-Avidin conjugate chemistry. TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The assay takes 4h 30m, with a sensitivity of <0.257 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.625-40 ng/ml.

Spiked recovery testing (n=5) showed average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, with serum ranging from 74-107%, EDTA plasma from 79-108%, and heparin plasma from 82-105% across the dilutions tested. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
