Porcine Alanine Aminotransferase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Alanine Transaminase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-Alanine Transaminase detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Captured analyte is visualised by a colour change from blue to yellow after addition of stop solution, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a measuring range of 4.68-300 U/L, a sensitivity of <1.17 U/L and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample validation has been performed in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5), with recovery and linearity data reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the manual.
