Porcine Adrenomedullin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this competitive ELISA (cELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Adrenomedullin (ADM) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with Adrenomedullin/ADM antigen, and the assay uses a Biotinylated Anti-Adrenomedullin/ADM Antibody in a competitive enzyme immunoassay format, with detection via an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 2 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 4.55 pg/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date. Reported recovery values for neat serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5) are 80–102% (average 91%), 81–99% (average 90%), and 80–89% (average 84%), respectively. Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across these sample types.
