Porcine Adiponectin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Porcine Adiponectin ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative measurement of porcine Adiponectin in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Capture antibody is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips); bound Adiponectin is detected with a biotinylated anti-Adiponectin antibody and HRP-avidin, then visualised with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is validated for porcine samples, with a working range of 6.25-400 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 2.51 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery values (n=5) are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-99% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity on dilution has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%). The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
