Designed for use with all thermal cyclers featuring a 0.2 mL block format, these Eppendorf PCR reaction vessels with lids are manufactured to the highest Eppendorf quality standards. The tubes feature thin polypropylene walls that ensure efficient and homogeneous heat transfer, and a simple design provides an airtight seal to prevent contamination and evaporation while remaining easy to open and close with one hand.

Available in a colorless Forensic DNA Grade variant, these non-sterile tubes are certified free of human DNA, DNase, RNase, and PCR inhibitors. The Forensic DNA Grade fulfils the requirements of the ISO 18385 standard. The PCR clean purity grade is safeguarded by two-layer packaging consisting of resealable bags inside the outer carton.

Additional features include a contamination shield on the hinged lid, a defined lid position thanks to a special hinge, high transparency even on the tube base, and an etched lid for labeling. The tubes are also available in an 8-tube strip format.
