Mouse Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Complementation Group C ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse XPC (Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Complementation Group C) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-XPC antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Kit components comprise the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as appropriate.

Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) report averages of 91% (range 80-102%) in serum, 90% (range 81-100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80-89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
