Mouse X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 5 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse X-Ray Repair Cross Complementing 5 (Ku80) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Ku80 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Ku80 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The plate is supplied as 12 x 8 well strips and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported sensitivity is <0.072 ng/ml with a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Manufacturer-supplied recovery values are: serum (n=5) 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is given as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
