Mouse X-Box Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Mouse XBP1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse X-box binding protein 1 (XBP1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The kit employs the sandwich immunoassay technique, in which XBP1 in standards and samples is captured by an immobilized anti-XBP1 antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-XBP1 antibody, and visualised using an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The standard assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes to complete.

Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with linearity assessed across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
