Mouse Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 3A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Wnt3a (Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 3A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Samples and standards are added to the wells, where Wnt3a binds the immobilized capture antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Wnt3a antibody is introduced, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader to calculate concentration from the standard curve.

Key specifications include a quantitative sandwich format with colorimetric detection, an assay time of 4h 30m, a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.7 pg/ml. Spiked-sample recovery (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 91-98%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90-99%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (78-102%, 90-100%, 80-104%, 86-97%), EDTA plasma (95-103%, 81-109%, 87-91%, 88-107%) and heparin plasma (74-101%, 92-97%, 90-105%, 84-102%).
