Mouse Vitronectin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vitronectin/S-Protein in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read on a colorimetric microplate reader, with detection based on a biotinylated anti-Vitronectin/S-Protein antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

Performance characteristics quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.75 ng/ml, a standard range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values (n=5) are serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is also given for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
