Mouse Vitamin D Receptor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vitamin D Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Vitamin D Receptor; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Vitamin D Receptor Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of Vitamin D Receptor captured in each well.

Reported performance includes a measuring range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.134 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Spike-and-recovery averages were 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in each matrix.
