Mouse Vitamin D Binding Protein ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vitamin D Binding Protein in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate and uses a Biotinylated Anti-Vitamin D Binding Protein Antibody in conjunction with an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate as the chromogenic detection reagent. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <2.27 ng/ml and the assay range is 6.25–400 ng/ml. Recovery data from the manufacturer show average values of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5), with linearity data also reported across serial dilutions in all three sample types.
