Mouse Vinculin ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Vinculin ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vinculin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection via TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Captured Vinculin is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Vinculin Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of Vinculin captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by referring to a standard curve.

The assay covers a standard range of 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.105 ng/ml, and the total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Linearity of dilution has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for each of these matrices. Kit components should be stored at either +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
