Mouse Vesicular Glutamate Transporter 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vesicular Glutamate Transporter 1 (VGluT1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-VGluT1 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.124 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Approximate total assay time is 4h 30m. Compatible sample types include tissue homogenates, serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. Reported mean recoveries across five replicates are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81–101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%).
