Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGFD) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for VEGFD, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-VEGFD detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 5.4 pg/ml and a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values average 91% (80%-102%) for serum, 90% (81%-100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (80%-89%) for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
