Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C (VEGFC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids [C0, S1]. The 4h 30m assay uses a pre-coated microplate and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm [S1].

Performance specifications include a measuring range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 6.3 pg/ml [S1]. The sandwich enzyme immunoassay uses a VEGFC-specific pre-coated antibody, Biotinylated Anti-VEGFC Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction produces a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to the VEGFC captured in each well [S1]. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date [S1].

Sample recovery validation (n=5) gave average values of 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum, 90% (range 81%–100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80%–89%) for heparin plasma [S1]. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions yielded ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5) [S1].
