Distributed by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse NF-kB p65, also known as V-Rel Reticuloendotheliosis Viral Oncogene Homolog A, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for the target is pre-coated onto the wells of a microplate; standards and test samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-target antibody and an HRP–avidin conjugate. TMB substrate yields a yellow product proportional to target concentration, which is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.041 ng/ml, and the assay can be completed within 4 h 30 min. Average spiking recovery is 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
