Mouse V-Fos FBJ Murine Osteosarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolog ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse c-Fos in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for c-Fos, with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader by measuring O.D. absorbance at 450 nm and referring to a standard curve. The total assay time is 4 h 30 m and the protein target is c-Fos.

According to the manufacturer, the kit offers a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Reported mean recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity-of-dilution recovery is also reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%), each with n=5.
