Mouse Uromodulin ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Uromodulin (UMOD) in serum, plasma, urine or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for UMOD is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-UMOD Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Stated performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <1.14 ng/ml and an assay range of 3.12–200 ng/ml. Reported average recoveries across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma fall between 84% and 91%, with dilution-linearity ranges provided for 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
