Mouse Urocortin 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Urocortin 3 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Urocortin 3. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Urocortin 3 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the Urocortin 3 concentration is determined from the standard curve.

Sensitivity is 4.3 pg/ml and the working assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Reported recovery in serum ranges from 80% to 102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma from 81% to 100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma from 80% to 89% (average 84%). Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
