Mouse Urocortin 2 ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Urocortin 2 (also referred to as UCN2/SRP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a biotinylated anti-UCN2/SRP antibody / HRP-avidin / TMB substrate workflow, with the resulting colour intensity read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The stated product range is 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.52 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), and dilution linearity is given for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Reagents should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
