Mouse Ubiquitin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Ubiquitin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Ubiquitin captured on the plate is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Ubiquitin Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with yellow colour intensity proportional to Ubiquitin concentration. The standard curve covers 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <12.5 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported validation includes average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–99%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
