Mouse Ubiquitin Carboxyl Terminal Hydrolase L1 ELISA Kit

From the Assays and Kits range by Antibodies.com, the Mouse Ubiquitin Carboxyl Terminal Hydrolase L1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of the target in mouse samples. The kit applies the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for the target pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and the target present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. After incubation, the wells are washed and incubated with a biotinylated detection antibody that binds the captured target. An HRP-avidin conjugate is then added and the plate incubated. Following further incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well, and the concentration of target can be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve. The kit is suitable for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <25 pg/ml, a measuring range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
