Mouse Tyrosine Hydroxylase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse Tyrosine Hydroxylase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated (12 x 8 well strips) with a capture antibody specific for Tyrosine Hydroxylase. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and bound Tyrosine Hydroxylase is detected using a biotinylated anti-Tyrosine Hydroxylase antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution; the resulting yellow colour intensity is read at 450 nm and quantified against the standard curve.

The standard curve range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes and detection is colorimetric. Spike-and-recovery values in serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–99%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%) are reported (n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions spans 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma (n=5).
