Mouse Tumor Protein p53 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse p53 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for p53, with captured p53 detected using a biotinylated anti-p53 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Bound conjugate is visualised with a TMB substrate solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance specifications reported by the manufacturer include an assay range of 6.25-400 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <2.46 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Mean recovery values are 91% for serum (range 83%-100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (90%-99%) and 96% for heparin plasma (91%-101%), with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across all three matrices (n=5).
