Mouse Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNF alpha). The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). The workflow employs a biotinylated anti-TNF alpha detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.064 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was validated in serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%) across n=5 samples, and linearity upon dilution was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B (120 µl each), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips), with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
