Mouse Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein ELISA Kit

The kit employs a pre-coated 96 well microplate, a biotinylated anti-TPPP detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colourmetric read-out in which TMB substrate is converted to a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the TPPP concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

Stated performance figures are a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised on spiked samples: serum (n=5) showed 80%–102% recovery averaging 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% averaging 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% averaging 84%. Dilutional linearity was also examined at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same three matrices.
