Mouse Tubulin Beta 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse beta I Tubulin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is run on a pre-coated microplate platform of 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay principle uses an antibody specific for beta I Tubulin pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and test samples are added and the captured target is bound by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-beta I Tubulin Antibody is added, which binds the captured target. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added and the plate incubated. TMB substrate solution produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of beta I Tubulin captured. Total assay time is 4h 30m and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported sensitivity is 0.061 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Mean spike-and-recovery values (n=5) were 91% in serum, 89% in EDTA plasma and 90% in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum (74-109%), EDTA plasma (78-110%) and heparin plasma (77-109%).
