Mouse Tryptophan Hydroxylase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this Mouse Tryptophan Hydroxylase 2 ELISA Kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse TPH2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-TPH2 detection antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Captured TPH2 is visualised using TMB substrate, with the reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Manufacturer-stated performance: sensitivity of 0.049 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Recovery data across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16 are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
