Mouse Troponin T Type 2, Cardiac ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cardiac Troponin T in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit reacts with mouse samples and is supplied on a pre-coated 96-well microplate format.

Standards and test samples are added to the antibody-coated wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Cardiac Troponin T antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow after the acidic stop solution is added, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. The standard curve covers a working range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of <5.3 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m, and reagents should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the kit.

Spike-and-recovery values averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.
