Mouse Troponin I Type 3, Cardiac ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cardiac Troponin I in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for Cardiac Troponin I. Standards and samples are added, followed by washing, incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Cardiac Troponin I Antibody, and then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and the concentration of Cardiac Troponin I is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Total assay time is 4h 30m, with a standard measuring range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 12.7 pg/ml. Reported recovery ranges are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum (n=5), 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
