Mouse Triggering Receptor Expressed On Myeloid Cells 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse Triggering Receptor Expressed On Myeloid Cells 2 (TREM2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing a TREM2-specific capture antibody, with a Biotinylated Anti-TREM2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate completing the sandwich. TMB substrate is added to visualise the HRP reaction as a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the TREM2 concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 23.8 pg/ml with a standard curve range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), serum samples returned 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the product is intended for research use only.
