Mouse Triggering Receptor Expressed On Myeloid Cells 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Triggering Receptor Expressed On Myeloid Cells 1 (TREM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-TREM1 detection antibody and HRP-avidin with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <5.4 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Standards and samples are captured by the immobilized antibody, washed, developed with TMB substrate, and stopped with acidic stop solution; the resulting yellow product density is proportional to the TREM1 concentration present in each well.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) gave averages of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with observed ranges of 80%-102%, 81%-100% and 80%-89% respectively. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions (n=5) yielded ranges of 87%-107% for serum, 79%-108% for EDTA plasma and 82%-105% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
