Mouse Trefoil Factor 2 ELISA Kit

Provided by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Trefoil Factor 2 (TFF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-TFF2 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the colourmetric read-out measured at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <12.5 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples at n=5 spans 80%-102% (average 91%), 81%-100% (average 90%) and 80%-89% (average 84%) respectively. At dilution series of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 the same matrices show recovery ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
