Mouse Transthyretin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transthyretin (also known as Prealbumin). The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with reactivity specific to mouse samples.

Suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The standard range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, the sensitivity is 0.067 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.

The pre-coated plate is incubated with standards and samples, then with Biotinylated Anti-Prealbumin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; TMB substrate produces a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to Prealbumin concentration. Manufacturer recovery data (n=5): serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
