Mouse Transportin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transportin 1/MIP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for Transportin 1/MIP. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Transportin 1/MIP detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a reported product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.39 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate platform. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%). Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 has been demonstrated for the same sample types.
