Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V, Member 1 (TRPV1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised anti-TRPV1 capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-TRPV1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The cited assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity is 0.056 ng/ml. The complete assay takes 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery has been validated across serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 through 1:16 has also been evaluated: serum 74%–107%, EDTA plasma 79%–108%, and heparin plasma 82%–105% across the dilutions tested.
