From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily M, Member 4 (TRPM4) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate using a biotinylated anti-TRPM4 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.048 ng/ml. Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported average spike-and-recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (each n=5). The kit should not be used past the stated expiration date.
