Mouse Transglutaminase 1, Keratinocyte ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transglutaminase 1, Keratinocyte (TGM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for TGM1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-TGM1 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then applied and produces a blue product, turning yellow upon addition of the stop solution. The absorbance is proportional to the amount of TGM1 captured in each well and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is below 0.122 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
