Mouse Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 ELISA Kit

An Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for TGF beta 2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-TGF beta 2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated from a standard curve.

The product reports a measuring range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <13.2 pg/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (83–99%), EDTA plasma (80–99%), and heparin plasma (82–99%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
