Mouse Transferrin Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Transferrin Receptor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Transferrin Receptor is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Transferrin Receptor Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The resulting blue product turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml and sensitivity is reported as <0.28 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Standards are prepared by reconstituting the lyophilised standard at 50 ng/ml and carrying out a 1:2 serial dilution down to 0.781 ng/ml. Detection Solutions A and B are diluted 1:100 in Sample Dilution Buffer prior to use. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. Reported recovery values (n=5) are: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types.
